Squish Juicery's FAQ
What is cold-pressed juice and how is it different?
Cold–Pressed juicing is very different from your home centrifugal juicer. It uses thousands of pounds of pressure to “squish” the juice from the produce pulp. This process generates minimal heat and reduces the air that mixes with the juice. Creating a more nutrient dense, longer lasting product that extracts the most out of those difficult to juice leafy greens.
How are Squish Juicery juices different?
At Squish Juicery we truly believe that cold-pressed juice can be both nutritious, and enjoyable to drink. All of our recipes are weighed to the gram to ensure every juice is as delicious as the last time you had it. None of our juices contain overpowering flavours so that you can taste every amazing ingredient.
Where are your juices made?
Our juices are proudly made in Port Coquitlam, BC Canada.
What size bottles do you offer with your juices?
We offer 473ml (16oz) bottle, a 237mL (8oz) bottle and a 1L bottle (by special order). It takes 2-3 lbs. of produce to make one 16oz bottle of our juice.
When comparing our product to others on the market be sure to not only look at the pricing but also the size of the bottle. You get almost 30% more juice in our bottles than some of the other brands available.
How long do your juices last?
Our in store juices are raw and unpasteurized which means they have a 4-day shelf life (from the date of production). Do not let the 4th day scare you, they are still as nutritious and delicious on day 4 as day 1.
How long do your almond mylks last?
Our almond mylks are also raw and unpasteurized which means they have a 5-day shelf life (from the date of production). Do not let the 5th day scare you, they are still as nutritious and delicious on day 5 as day 1.

Do you use organic produce?
We use organic leafy green vegetables and are committed to purchasing premium quality produce. We do not use what is deemed as “juicing produce” or end of life produce. We believe that even the slightest bruise on an apple can change the flavour of your juice, and everyone knows how committed we are to flavour!
All of our produce goes through a rigorous washing process. We use a Food Safe approved 2 sink produce washing method, along with one of our favourite Canadian brands fruit and veggie wash. The produce is placed in the first sink and soaked in produce wash, and then scrubbed. Once it has been cleaned it is placed into the second sink (our rinse sink) prior to juicing. With our beets, they end up being scrubbed 2-3 times before they are juiced to ensure we get all the dirt off.
Prior to our opening we did a large demographic survey at the City of Port Moody’s inaugural Car Free Day in 2017 and asked our potential customers if they were willing to pay $12 a bottle to have 100% organic and 98% of responses said no, that they would prefer us having the $10 price point.
We are committed to providing our customers with the best juice possible and the health and safety of our customers is our top priority. If produce arrives that does not meet our standards it is not used.
Are your bottles recyclable?
Yes, you can recycle our bottles in your blue bin recycling at home. Since we do not charge our customers a bottle deposit, you are unable to return them to bottle depots for a refund.
